Hi! I’m Ella.

A Massachusetts native, I’ve been living & working in Israel since 2007.

I entered the birth world in 2016, shortly after the birth of my first son. I had prepared for my first birth experience by attending a local Mindfulness-Based Childbirth & Parenting (MBCP) course and went into labor hopeful for a natural birth, but also prepared for a variety of outcomes. During my labor, many interventions were given to me, however, the use of most of them was not medically indicated. Although I gave birth to a healthy baby boy, the days, weeks & months that followed left me feeling sad and in a lot of pain (physical & emotional).

My own journey led me to the conclusion that women need SO much more information, confidence and support as we experience pregnancy, birth & early parenting. I returned to school to complete my Masters in Public Health and simultaneously began the process of becoming a certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator.

In 2019, a year after experiencing my first pregnancy loss at 13 weeks, I became pregnant again. This time around I hired a private midwife and began planning to give birth at home. Even with all the knowledge and expertise, unparalleled support and a safe environment, we transferred to the hospital after 24 hours of labor at home and my son ended up being born via emergency cesarean surgery. His birth, which I consider a positive birth experience, taught me so much both personally professionally, it truly made me a much better birth professional.

At the end of it all, I’m a Mom just like you and I’m here to help make this journey and transition easier & more fun!

With Love,

Ella Goldberg, MPH, LCCE
